Actuarial Supervisor / Assistant Manager

Responsibilities:

• Providing support in actuarial valuation and international financial reporting (IFRS and MCV bases) and management of assets & liabilities, solvency and capital – in line with local and AXA Group actuarial standard and guidelines
• Apply ‘actuarial control cycle’ concepts in life insurance: experience study, analysis and interpretation, assumption setting and monitoring – under the guidance of more experienced local and regional actuaries

Requirements:

• Undergraduate degree in actuarial/mathematics or other related discipline from reputable local or overseas universities
• At least 3-5 years of relevant actuarial experience in life insurance
• Preferably ASAI qualified, or has been progressing well in PAI or other actuarial exams
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills with attention to details. Proficient in analysis and programming (MS Excel / Access / actuarial software).
• Good communication in English (oral and written) and interpersonal skills. Able to present complex ideas and actuarial concepts clearly and completely.
• Self-driven, highly motivated and able to work under pressure and deadlines. Proven ability to learn new concepts quickly, high aspiration to excel and meet professional challenge as an actuary.

Distribution & Product Pricing Actuary

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for delivering actuarial services relating to pricing, profitability review and risk management of our product lines (unit-linked and risk products) and distribution channels (agency, bancassurance and telemarketing) – in line with local and AXA Group standards and guidelines
• Reporting to Chief Actuary and leading a team of actuarial pricing analysts; and working closely with distribution channels and product development team.

Requirements:

• Undergraduate degree in actuarial/mathematics or other related discipline from reputable local or overseas universities
• At least 5 years of relevant actuarial experience in life insurance.
• Preferably FSAI qualified, or associates who are progressing well in PAI or other actuarial exams
• Strong modelling and problem solving skills with attention to details. Proficient in actuarial programming (eg. Prophet) and data analysis (Excel, Access)
• Good communication in English (oral and written), interpersonal and project management skills. Able to present complex ideas and actuarial concepts clearly and completely.
• Self-driven, highly motivated and able to work under pressure and deadlines. Proven ability to learn and apply new ideas quickly, high aspiration to excel and meet the professional challenge as an actuary.
